The first step is an opportunity for us to learn about your dream project! During this step, we’ll explore your custom home, addition or home remodeling ideas, share referrals, and discuss projects that align with your budget, while addressing any questions or concerns you may have. It’s a time for us ensure we are a fit for each other. We’ll also talk about schedules, your role in the project, and what you can expect from us, The goal is to provide you with the information you need while building a foundation of trust and understanding that will carry through the entire project.

After our initial meeting, we move forward with a Pre-Construction Service Agreement (PSA), which outlines all project details to ensure a clear and transparent outcome. The PSA typically covers costs for a detailed estimate that guarantees a quality project at a set price, along with basic design services and sometimes necessary demolition or discovery work. While the PSA ensures accurate project pricing, it does not obligate you to enter into a Construction Agreement, and you retain ownership of the design work

After the Pre-Construction Service Agreement (PSA) is signed, we take this time to gather a comprehensive view of the scope of work, materials list, production schedule, and all necessary documentation and applications required by your city or county. This can include everything from ordering a soils report to finalizing the cabinet layout for your kitchen to ensure a smooth building process

At this point, we will present a detailed proposal for your signature. The contract will define the three most important aspects for you: the Scope of Work, the Schedule of Payments, and the Approximate Start and Completion Dates, along with all the additional requirements mandated by the state of Colorado. Essential to carefully review and understand the contract before moving forward, as this is when the project starts to get exciting!

During the building phase, our team will manage all aspects of ordering materials, scheduling, oversight, and coordination. We will also keep you regularly informed of progress and any issues that arise. Despite careful planning, it’s common for families to want changes as they see their project come to life, and we are happy to accommodate any adjustments you wish to make. Our contract clearly explains how costs related to these changes will be handled, and our team will be ready to implement them. We are available throughout the process, to ensure you feel supported and confident in every decision.
